Privacy Notice

What this notice covers
This notice explains how TLC Services LLC collects, uses, protects, and shares information through TLCServices.care and the TLC Services Care Hub. It applies to applicants, employees, clients, authorized family delegates, and website visitors and is intended to provide notice at collection for covered California information.
Categories of information we collect
We may collect identifiers and contact details; account and authentication records; employment applications, credentials, tax and eligibility documents; care schedules, care-plan and service-note information; location, device, IP and audit information; invoices, payment status and transaction references; uploaded images and documents; and support communications. Full card and bank credentials are entered with payment providers and are not stored directly by TLC Care Hub.
Sensitive information
Care and health-related details, government identification, precise location used for an authorized shift verification, account credentials, and financial information may be sensitive. TLC limits collection and use to care, employment, identity, safety, payroll, billing, legal, and security purposes reasonably necessary for the requested service.
How we use information
We use information to coordinate and document care, manage hiring and employment, verify time and attendance, administer payroll and billing, provide portal access, communicate reminders, prevent fraud, protect accounts, respond to requests, and meet legal or regulatory obligations.
Who may receive information
Information is limited to authorized TLC staff, assigned care workers, approved client delegates, and contracted service providers that support hosting, communications, identity, payroll, payments, document storage, and security. Access is based on role and business need. TLC does not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Care and health information
Care plans and care notes may contain sensitive health-related information. The Care Hub restricts that information to authorized users and keeps delegate permissions separate. Do not use ordinary email for urgent medical matters. Call emergency services for an emergency.
Retention and security
TLC uses role controls, encrypted HTTPS transport, private document storage, time-limited sessions, audit records, and service-provider safeguards. Records are retained only as needed for care, employment, accounting, consent evidence, dispute resolution, or legal requirements, then securely deleted or de-identified under TLC policy.
California privacy choices
Where California law applies, you may request to know or access covered information, correct inaccurate information, delete eligible information, receive a portable copy, and limit certain uses of sensitive information. TLC does not discriminate for exercising applicable privacy rights. Some care, employment, billing, security, and legal records may be exempt or must be retained.
Profiles, delegates, and authorizations
Portal users may update their own contact information and photo without changing their access permissions. Clients or authorized representatives may manage delegate access through TLC. Payment responsibility and autopay choices are recorded separately, and autopay may be cancelled without cancelling care or amounts already owed.
